About What The Heke

What The Heke was originally born as a tool to help Waiheke High School music students keep track of their upcoming performances but it has developed into something that the entire community can use to see which live music events are coming up on the Island (Waiheke High School events or otherwise).

What The Heke is completely free to use and aims to stay well clear of excessively monetising local events for its own benefit (unlike some other events/ticketing websites around) - What The Heke is just for viewing information about events and it doesn't charge a commission on anything or request ticketing fees or anything like that (it doesn't have a ticketing system to begin with) and the focus is squarely on events run for locals, by locals, featuring local bands and artists.

I hope you have a great time using the website (I know it looks very basic) and please feel free to make an account if there's a local event/performer/band you want displayed, I've tried to make sure its as easy as possible to keep everyone on the Island aware of what's going on without any of the fluff that makes life difficult on other websites :)
